I do not fear what people might do because God can turn harm into good.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Genesis 50:20

Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.

Proverbs 29:25

So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”

Hebrews 13:6

Sometimes our anxiety focuses on what people might do to harm us. It’s oddly reassuring to know that even when someone harms us, God has a good purpose for it. Even our pain has a purpose. That’s less frightening, isn’t it?
