And the believers were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
Joy is a fruit of the Spirit so it’s natural that joy would accompany the presence of the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit living within us, our lives should be characterized by joy.
Is that true for you? Do you feel joy on a regular basis? Again, most of us would have to answer, “No.”
Take a moment to invite God to do the spiritual work necessary in your heart so you can experience His joy as a perpetual state of being. You already know from God’s Word that God wants to give you joy so you can be certain He will respond. It may take a growth process before you get there, but keep seeking God. He is the ultimate joy-giver.

You’ll find my brand of humor in many of the emails, especially in funny photos. There is joy in the Lord and we all need to laugh more.
