K Is for Knowing God

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. Ephesians 1:16-17   We’re looking at the many ways God changes us from the inside out. So why is “Knowing God” on the list? In the Bible, when people encountered God, it changed them. Moses was a scaredy-cat until he met God at the burning bush. His encounter with God changed him and God used Moses to lead the slaves out of Egypt. When we know God—not just know about God but really know Him through personal experience with Him—it changes us. Knowing the many facets of who God is and experiencing Him work in our lives changes us. It is how we become more like Him. Best of all? God gives us the ability to know Him as He continually reveals more of Himself to each of us.      ...
