Untangled: What God Has Done in My Life This Summer

By on Sep 6, 2015 in Crazy Grace Blog | 2 comments

Have you ever had a bunch of yarn get all tangled up? You may have good intentions of straightening things out, but if you pull on the wrong thread it knots things up even worse than before. That’s how my life felt. I was tied in knots. I lost hope that I’d ever get untangled. Things in my life seemed so intertwined and dark. Dark colors of yarn are especially difficult to untangle. Shadows of darkness had engulfed my mind. I wasn’t listening to God. I was listening to the negative thoughts from the Accuser and those negative thoughts became beliefs and expectations. Past events in my life, both my sins and the sins committed against me, had left open wounds that festered and bred sinful attitudes and emotions. All the negative energy in my life acted as a magnet to attract other negatives and things became increasingly tangled. Despite my best efforts to untangle things, my life got...

Ali’s Underground: Escaping Your Country to Escape Islam and Find a Savior

After a difficult time from an unjust court case, Ali’s family asked the mosque leaders for help, but they only suggested more prayers or sacrifices. No help came so Ali’s father left the country. He became a Christian and called to tell his family. He asked Ali to come join him but Ali had no passport so he had to leave the country illegally. He went to a border town and waited three days for his opportunity to escape. Later his mother and younger brother joined them. The family visited a Christian church together. Ali was skeptical, but when he noticed the changes in his family members who had come to Christ, he knew there was something more to Christ. Let’s pray for those in difficult circumstances and oppressive countries. May God show them a way of escape so they are free to worship Jesus.     I love his final thought: “That is why I go back for...

Muslim Jihadist Saw Jesus in His Dream and Became a Christian

By on Jul 15, 2015 in Noah's Archives | 0 comments

As astonishing as it may seem to Westerners, God is moving among Muslims because they value dreams and visions so Jesus Christ is meeting them in their dreams. For many, this is the first encounter with the Christian God and for others a quest for answers about Islam and Christianity culminates in earnest pleas for revelation, which God grants. Actually, the astonishing thing is not that God is revealing himself in dreams and visions, but that we don’t believe it. The Bible is full of more than 50 dreams and visions. Some of them span an entire book of the Bible, such as Revelation. In a culture where Christians are “Infidels” and they are closed off from any Christian influence (because it is outlawed), this may well be the only way God can reach Muslims. The testimony you are about to see is a re-enactment of actual events. What began as an attempt to discredit the...

Why I Left Islam: Naeem Fazal Recalls the Demonic Encounter That Turned Him to Christ

By on Jul 14, 2015 in Noah's Archives | 0 comments

Naeem Fazal had an encounter with a demonic presence and it scared him so much he put his faith in Jesus for protection, then, that same night, he had a reassuring encounter with Jesus. People couldn’t make this stuff up if they tried. This is God at work here and now. Let’s believe in the power of God for even more revelations to Muslims around the world. Go, God!       Five Prayers for Muslims Muslims pray five times a day so I’m offering five prayers for you to pray with me. Lord, I ask you to . . . Direct Your heavenly host to push back the forces of darkness that have a hold on the Muslim world. Take advantage of mistakes by the enemy by using them to scare Muslims to turn to You. Work in the hearts of those who are learning more about the Bible and Christ, but who are experiencing resistance because of their Islamic teachings. Break down the barriers in the...

God Used a Donkey to Save Him from Being Killed by His Father for Becoming a Christian

Steven Masood had memorized the Quran by the age of 10, but he was constantly curious and asking questions so he could learn more. In the interest of being widely read (and in a quest for answers) he decided to read the Bible. The insights he had from the Bible led him to Christ, but when he told his family, they beat him and attempted to kill him immediately. God intervened and used a donkey to save Steven Masood’s life. Listen as he tells it in his own words.       Five Prayers for Muslims Muslims pray five times a day so I’m offering five prayers for you to pray with me. Lord, I ask you to . . . Be a strong refuge for those who turn to Christ from Islam and protect them from senseless “honor killings.” Intervene in difficult situations using any means necessary, including a donkey. Shelter those who must flee their homes for their own safety. Meet the needs...
