You Aren’t Worthless

Unlock the Truth to Godly Confidence

Kristin Spencer

162 pages

“I am a beautiful and unique creation of His, crafted to do the things He planned for my life, if I should choose to follow Him.”

–Kristin Spencer, You Aren’t Worthless

In You Aren’t Worthless, Kristin Spencer addresses the almost universal quest for self-worth, self-confidence, or self-esteem. She explains what the Bible has to say and points out where cultural teaching, even within the church, does not line up with the Word of God.

The author explains that low self-esteem is really a manifestation of pride. Instead of tackling our low self-esteem, she builds a case for developing honest humility (not false humility) and godly confidence.

The book provided some well-thought-out points and the author wasn’t afraid to state the truth, even if it might not be popular. It’s worth a read, especially for anyone who struggles with feeling worthless.

“So many of our confidence problems come from the fact that we do not believe God. He tells us about His amazing love for us, but we don’t think this kind of love is real.”

–Kristin Spencer, You Aren’t Worthless
